Coming: First half 2017
Price Range: Rs 8-10 lakh

Quite honestly we actually want to see how this hot hatchback concept works out for Maruti Suzuki especially when this concept of hot hatchback is still fresh for the Indian market. However Fiat was the first manufacturer in the recent years who actually reintroduced the hot hatchback concept for the Indian market then it was Volkswagen. Now Maruti too wants to walk on the same path and introduce a new hot hatchback in the form of the Baleno RS.

Expect the Baleno hatchback to receive some aggressive styling on its exterior to make it look slightly different from the standard hatchback while it will also get some premium features inside as well. While under the hood the Baleno RS will get Suzuki’s 1.0-litre, three-pot turbo-petrol engine which is capable of producing about 112 Hp of peak power. Still it is no match for the Fiat Punto Abarth or the more premium Volkswagen PoloGT but with some added body claddings and aggressive pricing this will surely win hearts for sure.
