Although the Indian launch of the Toyota Fortuner will take some more time but that does not actually stop us from getting a proper glimpse of the capability of the 2016 Fortuner. Recently Toyota Australia launched a new video of the upcoming Fortuner which actually focuses on its off roading capability.
Not only the video focuses on Toyota’s offroading capability but also gives us a brief description of the Japanese auto makers SUV building capability. In this video you can watch theFortuner takes on some unforgiving terrains which include deep forests, low tide areas, rocks and steep surfaces. It is even capable of taking on the snowy and parts of the road where the tarmac gives away. What is even more interesting is the fac t that we can watch the Fortuner even gets some nice air during a jump.
What is interesting is the fact that the same SUV will make it to the Indian shores next year and if you aks me the new Fortuner looks sharp sporty and absolutely gorgeous. Towards the front we can notice a V shaped twin slat grille which has been finished in lots of chrome, while the the headlamp units gets the projector units and integrated daytime running lamps. The side profile looks complete with bigger wheels and huge wheel arches.
The new Fortuner is actually built on a completely new International Multi-purpose Vehicle (IMV) platform which actually also underpins the new Innova also.
