BMW has unveiled the 6-Series Gran Coupe and the DNA of the 6-Series is unmistakable with the long low wide stance and short overhangs. Mercedes-Benz pioneered the four door coupe segment with the CLS and earlier this year Audi joined the bandwagon as well with the A7. The 6-Series Gran Coupe is BMW’s first attempt at a luxurious four-door coupe and we expect the manufacturer to launch it in India in the middle of 2012. BMW claims that its designers have incorporated the flowing coupe roofline without compromising with rear passenger headroom. The Gran Coupe uses frameless doors and there are some distinctive styling elements throughout.
