Audi launched the Q5 in the Indian market in the year 2009, but it never became popular amongst the Indian fans like the bigger Q7. Thus in order to make the SUV popular amongst the people Audi launched a facelifted version of the Audi Q5 and brought it to the Indian market just few months after its global debut. The new Audi is also packed with features and obviously have a dominating road presence. The Q series offers luxurious interiors which will surely pamper its passengers and also has the offroading capability of a tough SUV. Although the Q5 belongs to the Q family it has few things common with the bigger Q7, this SUV is much more compact and built on a car chassis. The Q5 looks sporty and surely can be driven in city traffic without much of a hassle because of its compact size and shape.
The 2013 Q5 has both diesel and Petrol variants which is its big advantage. The 1984cc 4-cyls in-line direct injection turbo-petrol engine generates maximum power of 221bhp at 4500-6200rpm and 35.6kgm of torque at 1750-4500rpm, the other 1968cc 4-cyl inline turbo diesel engine generates 174bhp of maximum power at 1750-2500rpm and 38.7kgm at 1500-2500rpm.
