Audi R8 Driver Saved His Car From Crashing By An Inch At Nurburgring: Video
As you can all watch in this video, the Audi driver definitely has pulled the greatest escape of all time at the racing circuit and by racing circuit we meant not just any racing circuit but the most dangerous racing track ever known to mankind, the Nurburgring. This incident happened recently during the Nordschleife touristenfahrten session.
The Audi R8 was being driven too fast into the corners and that his when the precious car skidded of the track and went into the grass. The driver quickly realized his mistake and tried to steer in the opposite direction and as you all know that R8 is an all wheel drive sporstcar and gets Audi’s Quattro all wheel drive system, fortunately for this driver his car’s rear wheels came in contact with the ground which actually helped him from not hitting the barrier.
This situation most probably happened because while the driver realized that he was going too fast into the corner he must have panicked and hit the brakes which actually shifted the entire weight of the car towards the front wheels and made the rear wheels lose its traction. If the driver was not able to manage and steer away from the situation he definitely would have hit the side wall nose first.
Whatever may be the case this was definitely a close call for the driver and also for his car. The Audi R8 driver was actually lucky to drive away from the definite crash.
