We have seen plenty of launches from different manufacturers but what shocked the world were manufacturers like Aston Martin, Lamborghini introducing their newest supercars and sports cars just few days after their launch in the global markets which quite clearly explains that India has now also become an important market for these sports cars.

Aston Martin has surprisingly launched the DB11 Supercar in India priced at INR. 4.27 crore (ex showroom, Delhi). The car can be booked at infinity Motors while the deliveries will only be commenced from January or February 2017 onward.

The all new Aston Martin DB11 has replaced the DB9 and its main highlight definitely has to be its new powertrain and a new aluminium platform. Powering this new Coupe is an all new 5.2 Litre, twin turbocharged, V12 unit which is capable of producing an impressive 600 Hp of peak power at 6, 500 rpm and an equally impressive 700 Nm of torque at 1, 500 rpm. The engine is paired to a 8 speed automatic transmission. Now with these massive figures the newly introduced DB11 has become the most powerful DB series car every built. Now this car is not only about styling and premium interiors but also performance. Talking about performance the Aston martin DB11 can sprint from 0-100 km/h mark in just 3.9 seconds, while it can touch top speed of 322 km/h mark.

The new Grand Tourer has been built keeping the superior handling and comfort of the passengers in mind. Inside this Coupe gets all the technology from Daimler AG, the car gets a huge 12 inch TFT LCD display which replaces the analogue instrument cluster while a separate 8 inch TFT screen is also positioned on the centre dashboard. Furthermore the interior could also be customized according to the owners choice.

Aston Martin has taken all the risk and played it big this time, atleast that is what comes to your mind when you actually look at the all new DB11. This thing looks insane and what is appears Aston Martin has actually lifted this car straight from the future James Bond movie set. The DB11 promises to combine the best of latest technologies available at this moment along with an exception design and a powerful engine.

So in short the new Aston Martin DB11 which will replace the existing DB9 underpins a completely new aluminum structure which will also support the future Aston Martin cars, an all new 5.2 Litre, twin turbocharged, V12 unit which is capable of producing an impressive 600 Hp of peak power, an aerodynamic exterior body shell and all the luxury that one actually searches for in a car of this stature. To be frank Aston Martin although competes with the Lamborghini, Ferrari in this segment but they never actually competed in the sheer performance space, instead their reputation is built entirely on elegance, quality of refinement and luxury which they are able to pack inside their each and every car.

Although the 600 Hp might not sound much in today’s standards especially when we think about its rivals but the car’s overall design and its ultra luxurious interiors surely can impress even the strictest critic. There is no doubt that the new DB11 can throw all the punches and kicks at its enemies but does not actually miss its rich British Accent either.
