Say Hello To The Special Edition Aston Martin Vantage AMR

Say Hello To The Special Edition Aston Martin Vantage AMR

The meaner Vantage is limited to just 300 units!

Aston Martin has unveiled a new limited edition Vantage which will have a limited production run of just 300 units. Called the Vantage AMR these cars are produced by the AMR division which produces high-performance cars, Aston Martin. The AMR does the same work for Aston Martin which AMG does for Mercedes-Benz.

The AMR brand was introduced earlier this year at the Geneva Motor show and like we said this group will help in uplifting the performance of standard Aston Martin road going cars by taking direct influence from Aston Martin Racing’s participation in the FIA World Endurance Championship. The new AMR brand has two distinct tiers. While on the one hand, they will produce limited edition models such as the new Vantage AMR, on the other hand, they will also concentrate on some extreme high-performance models such as the AMR Pro models created by Q by Aston Martin Advanced Operations which will be positioned on top of the lineup. We saw one fine example of their creation at the Geneva Motor show in the form of Vantage AMR Pro which is a track focused car.

Talk about exterior changes and both these cars is made available in four striking AMR exterior schemes which include Stratus White with an Orange graphic; Ultramarine Black with Blue graphic; Zaffre Blue with Red graphic and Scintilla Silver with Grey graphic. In addition to the colour schemes, there is an AMR ‘Halo Pack’ on offer as well which takes its styling inspiration from Aston Martin Racing’s 2016 World Endurance Championship-winning #95 Vantage GTE. There is even a special Union Jack-enameled AML wings badge available at no extra cost with the car. There are plenty of get exteriors adds on available as well which includes a lightweight front grille, side strakes, lamp infills and even mirror caps. Additionally one can also choose between V8 Vantage AMR’s 5-spoke alloy wheels and the V12 Vantage AMR’s lightweight 10-spoke alloy wheels.

Although there are no official information and specification available with us at this moment but we can certainly inform you that the Vantage GT3 will generate an insane amount of power. The standard car generates an impressive amount of power of almost 565 Hp thus expect the GT3 to generate atleast 590 Hp+ amount of power which is really impressive. Although nothing much is clear about this car yet but you can certainly get a glimpse of that massive air intake at the front and that wicked looking rear wing which surely speaks a lot about the cars wild nature.

The Vantage GT3 surely looks promising and we all are eagerly waiting for its public appearance which will take place in the month of March 2015.

OVERVIEW 2014 Aston Martin V12 VantageS

2014 Aston Martin V12 VantageS

Aston Martin’s entry level sports car was feeling left out when her friends got a V-12 engine, while the Vantage had to settle for a V-8. Certainly, the V8 Vantage was not happy with the company and had to protest. The company had to bow to the kids demand and gave her what she wanted- a heart transplant.

Having given you a brief background of how the V8 Vantage turned into a V12 Vantage, that I imagined myself and which isn’t true, let me report some of the facts. The Aston Martin V12 Vantage S uses the same engine from the brand new Vanquish and is the fastest production Aston Martin, secondly only to the mighty One-77.

The V-12 naturally aspirated engine is somehow crammed into the tiny engine bay of the Vantage with no room to spare. It generates 573 PS and 620 Nm- same as that of the Vanquish. The only difference between the two is their weight. The V12 Vantage S weight advantage means it can do 100 kph in just 3.7 seconds and has a top speed of around 330 kph.

It is more expensive than its rivals by quite a bit. But, that’s a small price to pay for this exclusive piece of art and of course that wild sound track.
