Highlights from Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance 2015: A show of Elegance and Tradition

A vintage car show is always about head turning beauty with an ambience of sheer elegance, enveloped by rich tradition and heritage. There are plenty of vintage car shows happening around the world every month, but if we talk about the top ranking shows, Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance is surely at the top of list. This year the famous vintage car show celebrated its 65th anniversary with the same elegance, as always.

The head turner and winner of the ‘Best of the Show’ was a stunning 1924 Isotta Fraschini Tipo 8A Cabriolet. Incidentally, ‘Best of the Show’ feat was not new for Mr. Patterson, as his 1933 Delahaye D8S De Villars Roadster won the same prize in 2010.

This year in the ‘Best of the Show’ category the 1924 Isotta Fraschini Tipo 8A Cabriolet had some tough and serious contender, such as a 1914 Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost Kellner Torpedo Phaeton, a 1937 Delahaye 145 Franay Cabriolet and a 1953 Abarth 1100 Sport Ghia Coupé, but at the end the accolade for winner was reserved for the massive shiny black Cabriolet.
