The 2019 Maruti Suzuki Baleno has been launched with a host of changes. The mid-life facelift sees a lot of visual updates in the car. The Maruti Suzuki Baleno takes on the rivals like Hyundai Elite i20 and the Honda Jazz in the Indian market. It is available in 11 different trim levels and here are the prices of all of them.

Interestingly, with the update, Maruti has not revealed the price of the Maruti Suzuki Baleno RS. It is quite possible that Maruti Suzuki has discontinued the product due to low sales. Update : pricing of the RS is out – it carries a sticker price of Rs 8.76 lakh now.
The 2019 Maruti Suzuki Baleno comes with a number of visual updates. It gets updated bumpers, a new 3D grille, and new 16-inch two-tone precision cut alloy wheels.

The 2019 Maruti Suzuki Baleno gets changes in the cabin too. Most importantly, it now gets dual-tone blue and black fabric in the top-end version of the car. The car also comes with an updated infotainment system. The touch-screen infotainment system has been updated with new UI and it is now known as the Smartplay Studio.
The standard features of the Baleno include ABS+EBD and dual front airbags. Other aids include brake assist, force limiter and pre-tensioner equipped seat belts, front seat belt reminders, ISOFIX child seat restraint, speed alert and rear parking sensors as standard. Therefore, its fair to say, this one is a safe premium hatchback.
2019 Maruti Suzuki Baleno engine
The engine and transmission remain the same. The Maruti Suzuki Baleno remains powered by a 1.2-litre petrol engine that develops a maximum power of 82 Bhp and 115 Nm. The 1.3-litre diesel engine produces a maximum of 74 Bhp and 190 Nm. Both the engine options get 5-speed manual transmission but the petrol versions also get CVT automatic transmission as an option.
