If February was the month for Asia’s largest Auto Expo at New Delhi, then March is all about most prestigious auto show of Europe; Geneva Motor Show. In the capital city of Switzerland the ongoing automotive event is full of exotic cars. A total of 61 cars are debuting at the event, and among them luxury cars, super cars and hyper cars are the most talked about segment. Supercars are undeniably something always grab our attention everywhere, every time.

At the Geneva Motor Show the supercar segment is full of exotic beauties. Some names worthy of mention are Aston Martin DB11, Bugatti Chiron, McLaren 570GT, Koenigsegg Regera, Lamborghini Centenario, Pagani Huayra BC and many more.

Here we choose 6 supercars unveiled/unveiling at the Geneva Motor Show. Let’s take a look at them.

Aston Martin DB11 is the next generation DB9 with lots of design cues taken from DB10. It can be easily dubbed as a crossover between the DB9 and DB10. The car is based on the DBX platform and it rides on Aston’s VH aluminium platform. The car gets power from a traditional V12 engine, while it will be offered in AMG variant with a 4.0 litre V8 as well, thanks to their new partner Mercedes-Benz. The 5.2 litre twin turbo charged V12 will churn out around 650 hp peak power while the 4.0 litre V8 in the AMG variant is derived from Mercedes AMG GT and it will pump out around 503 hp peak power.

Bugatti Veyron cherished the fame of being the fastest car of the world for long time. Now Bugatti is all set to replace discontinued Veyron with their latest supercar Chiron. Bugatti claims it as the “world’s most powerful, fastest, most luxurious and most exclusive sports car.” Bugatti has designed the Chiron taking lots of design cues from the predecessor. The Chiron gets the signature horseshoe grille alongside the four piece sleek LED headlamps. Overall, the car adorns an aggressive stance. The interior is rally classy, as it gets honey coloured upholstery along with Blue markings. Chiron is more powerful and faster than the Veyron thanks to the upgraded 8.0 litre quad turbo W16 engine places at the back of the car, which generates around massive 1479 hp peak power and 1600 Nm peak torque. The engine gets two stage turbo charging technology, which enables the car reach 0-100 kmph in just 2.5 seconds with a top speed of 420 kmph.

In 2015 Koenigsegg Regara took the centre stage at the Geneva Motor Show, as a concept form albeit. Now at the 2016 Show Regara is presented as a production model and it has received more than 3000 tweaks. The plug-in hybrid car gets power from a mid mounted twin turbo 5.0 litre V8 engine which generates around 1072 hp peak power, while there are three electric motors delivering around 704 hp peak power as combined. This plug-in hybrid powertrain generates around 2000 Nm peak torque. To reach 0-100 kmph it takes 2.8 seconds, while in 20 seconds the car can reach 0-400 kmph.

Italian sportscar maker Lamborghini is celebrating the company founder Ferruccio Lamborghini’s 100th birthday in a fitting manner. They have built 770 hp ultra limited edition supercar in form of Lamborghini Centenario which is debuting at the Geneva Motor Show 2016. The Centenario looks equally gorgeous like the Aventador and Huracan, but the new car much more aggressive. Centenario gets power from a 6.5 litre V12 engine, which was first available in the Aventador. The mid mounted engine mated to single clutch seven speed transmission produces 770 hp peak power and sends power to all four wheels through Haldex all wheel drive system. To reach 0-100 kmph it takes just 2.8 seconds.

Moving on to the McLaren pavilion at the Motor Show McLaren 570GT is the most attractive model there. Lookwise, the car shares a bit of resemblances with 570S. It gets power from a 3.8 litre twin turbo V8 engine paired with a seven speed dual clutch transmission, which generates 562 hp peak power and 600 Nm peak torque. In 3.4 seconds McLaren 570GT reaches 0-100 kmph, while the top speed for this car is 204 kmph.

Pagani Huayra BC is a restyled limited version of the already famous Pagani Huayra. The BC initial is to honour the late Benny Caiola, who was the first customer of Pagani and a good friend of Horacio Pagani. The new car adorns some aerodynamic improvement to make it different. The powertrain also comes revamped. An AMG sourced 6.0 litre twin turbo V12 engine paired with seven speed automated manual transmission powers up the car, by churning out 789 hp peak power and 1098 Nm peak torque. It produces 60 hp more power than the standard Huayra, while the torque amount also stands at 98 Nm extra. It takes 2.7 seconds to reach 0-100 kmph.
