Next to Creta two gorgeous SUVs set to enter the Indian market and impress us are Hyundai Santa Fe facelift and the Hyundai Tucson. Honda WR-V is a crossover based on the Jazz premium hatchback

Now the automaker is developing an all new car in form of WR-V; which will arrive in Indian market sometime around 2017. The car is a compact crossover based on the premium hatchback Honda Jazz. Globally Honda has a premium crossover based on the Jazz, which is dubbed as the HR-V. Considering the price sensitiveness of the Indian customers, the Japanese automaker decided not to launch the pricey HR-V in India. Rather the company opted to develop and launch an all new vehicle in form of Honda WR-V, which will be positioned below the premium HR-V and above the recently launched Honda BR-V.

The facelift Honda Brio sports an aggressive fascia
In India Japanese automakers share a large volume of the market pie. The Honda is certainly one of the most popular Japanese automaker in the country, which boasts several popular and successful models in its stable.
The compact hatchback segment being the most popular segment in the country, all the automakers try to capture a fare share of the segment. Honda being one of the major players in India’s automobile market couldn’t ignore the segment. The company launched the Brio compact hatchback few years ago, which became immensely popular due to its stylish compact design, practicality and peppy performance.
Now the Japanese automaker is working on an all new Brio, which would be launched sometime in 2018. The new Brio will surely come featuring an updated design at the exterior and inside the cabin as well. As the Honda Amaze and the Brio shares the same platform, it can be said, that the new Brio would come featuring the similar fascia, which the newly launched facelift Amaze sports.
The Japanese automaker is working on the new Brio, which is codenamed as 2UA. This car will be manufactured in the automaker’s Indian plant, and it will be exported to Japan as well. Therefore the 2018 Honda Brio will become the second made in India car to be exported after the Maruti-Suzuki Baleno. Moreover, Honda hasn’t exported any car to Japan yet.

Volkswagen Ameo is the first India specific compact sedan from the German auto manufacturer
It has been the talk of the town for quite some time that, Volkswagen is all set to launch their first compact sedan in Indian market. As the compact sedan is one of the most happening segments of Indian automobile market, the most popular German brand in India cannot afford to keep itself away from the race. Therefore Volkswagen is bringing their compact sedan in the fray, which will be christened as the Volkswagen Ameo, as the German automaker has confirmed.
The name “Ameo” is derived from the Latin word “Amo”, which means “I love”. Volkswagen claims, it will be a game changer in the Indian market and this car will come with a package of best in class safety features great build quality and of course a great driving experience. The sub four metre sedan is manufactured on the VW Polo platform. The German automaker has been testing the car at the Chakan plant since long time. Now they have also confirmed that the Volkswagen Ameo will be showcased at the upcoming 2016 New Delhi Auto Expo, the production will be started around middle of the 2016 although. Interestingly, despite having a long Indian model line up, Volkswagen is planning big with the compact sedan in the country. They have earlier announced about investing a total of INR. 1500 crores in the market, while a total of INR. 720 crores were allotted for the compact sedan.

Skoda Kodiaq is inspired by the Vision S concept
India bound Skoda Kodiaq is the first six seater SUV from the Czech auto manufacturer. The car was a first showcased as a concept model christened as Skoda Vision S Concept. The car is expected to launch in India sometime around in 2017. It will be the second SUV from Skoda in India after the Yeti. Although the test mules of the Skoda Kodiaq has been spotted several times, but for the first time a non camouflaged test mule have been spotted testing. The Skoda Kodiaq comes inspired by Bohemian glass crystal designs. The car looks sharp and aggressive. The front fascia sports sharp and trimmed headlamp clusters, vertically slated aggressive front grille, wide air intake, LED daytime running lights. The video reveals the rear profile of the car. The taillamps looks sharply design with squarish LED units. The roof spoiler, beefy rear bumper and the sloping roofline is also visible along with the sporty alloy wheels.
Audi R8 is powered by a 4.2 litre V8 engine
Audi R8 is a nicely crafted sports coupe. The car is also one of the fastest cars available in Indian market. The Audi R8 is available in two different variants. While one is powered by a 4.2 litre V8 engine, there is a more powerful variant which gets power from a V10 engine.

Toyota Innova Crysta petrol will launch on 1st August
Toyota launched the new Innova Crysta few months back. The Innova Crysta has been the biggest launch of the year till date. New Volkswagen Tiguan will launch in India sometime in next year

Ferrari F430 Grand Tourer was produced from 2004 to 2009
Honda City is one of the most popular sedans in India. While most people love the stylish executive look of the car, some like it tweaked. Someone in Mumbai tried to modify his Honda City into more exotic replica of a Ferrari F430. And honestly, the car looks exactly like a Ferrari exotica. No wonder the modification job has been done very efficiently.
At exterior the car comes with identical hood, large air dams at the front bumper section, swept back stylish headlamps. The side profile of the car gets sporty alloy wheels, air vent just behind the doors, at the upper and lower part of the body, nicely sloping roofline. Honda city on the other hand is available in both petrol and diesel engine options. The petrol variant of City comes with a 1.5 litre engine mated to a 5 speed manual gearbox churning out 119 PS of peak power and 145 Nm of peak torque. While the diesel variant of the car gets a 1.5 litre engine paired with a 6 speed manual gearbox producing 100 Ps of peak power and 200 Nm of peak torque.

Jaguar F-Pace is expected to launch in India later this year
Goodwood Festival of Speed is known for displaying some stunning automotive activities. And this year Jaguar stunned everyone with the two wheel drive of the F-Pace. Last year the luxury SUV amazed us with its 360 degree loop, which set a Guinness record. And now the Jaguar F-Pace took an amazing entry to the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
The 360 degree loop stunt’s driver Terry Grunt took the car running on two wheels while the other two wheels remained in air. Along with him was freestyle professional motorcycle stunt rider Lee Bowlers. Lee climbed out of the side window and climbed back inside the co-passenger seat during the stunt. No wonder this was a terribly tough task for Terry Grunt, as the stunt needed lot of control and calculation. After the stunt he was describing how the lightweight yet rigid frame of the Jaguar F-Pace has helped him doing the stunt so perfectly. Before doing the stunt at Goodwood the terry Grunt and Lee Bowlers practiced it several times at the Santa Pod Raceway in Northamptonshire.
The Jaguar F-Pace was unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show, and the car was displayed at the 2016 New Delhi Auto Expo as well. The British marquee is expected to launch the SUV in Indian market later this year. Power sources for the muscular stylish car come from Ingenium engine family. The car is available in both the petrol and diesel engine options. The petrol version is powered by a 2.0 litre engine producing 237 bhp of peak power, while there is a 3.0 litre V6 engine generating 377 bhp of peak power. A massive 5.0 litre supercharged V8 motor is also there. The diesel version gets two different engine options, which are 2.0 litre engine kicking out 177 bhp and a 3.0 litre V6 engine churns out 337 bhp. The car comes available in both the Rear Wheel Drive (RWD) and All Wheel Drive (AWD) configurations.

Meanwhile Supreme Court has announced they are open to lift the ban on 2000 cc and larger diesel engine powered cars in Delhi and NCR. The rhino in Kaziranga was seen chasing the cars on the highway
Have you ever seen a raging rhino attacking the running cars on roads? Well exactly that happened in Kaziranga National Park in Assam, where a lone rhino was seen attacking the cars on a busy road. Several cars were seen taking an U turn and fleeing after being chased by the raging rhino. Later the rhino left the road although. The footage shows no evidence of casualty or damage caused by the animal. It was not known the rhino suddenly attacked the cars. Ameo is the first India spec compact sedan from Volkswagen
Volkswagen Ameo has been in discussion for quite long time. The German automaker’s first India spec compact sedan was unveiled at the 2016 New Delhi Auto Expo, and it has been appreciated by the critics and customers. Recently the German automaker has launched a new TVC which portrays the bittersweet relation between Indian father and son.
The Ameo is pretty sharply designed and stylish as well. The car looks like a Polo from front, while the rear reminds us about the Vento, the boot chopped a bit although. The British company has created the perfect modern four seat super luxury drophead. The convertible has been called the Rolls-Royce Dawn.
Inspiration for the super luxury car has been taken from the 1952 Rolls-Royce Silver Dawn drophead. While the Dawn coupe had the first factory built body, the drophead was being build by coach builders. Only 28 special cars were built between 1950 and 1954.
Just like its predecessor, the new drophead 80 percent new and unique body panels. Rolls-Royce claim that the new Dawn is the quietest open top car ever made. Being a Rolls-Royce, i think it is true. Even the roof operates in complete silence.

Tata Tiago Aktiv was displayed at the 2016 Geneva International Motor Show
Tata Tiago has achieved success in very short time, and the latest compact hatchback from Tata Motors has proven a success in Indian market. At the 2016 New Delhi Auto Expo, the auto manufacturer briefly showcased an accessorized version of the hatchback which was later showcased at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show as Tiago Aktiv. The accessorized crossover has garnered much more attention than the regular variant.
Until now the Tata Tiago Aktiv is available from the Tata Motors personalization studio with an extra price over the price of the regular model. But the automaker plans to launch a complete production version of the car which would be introduced to the market later this year. The car looks different than the regular variant in terms of exterior and interior accessories. But the mechanical specifications remain same as the car will be available in both the petrol and diesel engine options. The petrol variant will get a 1.2 litre Revotron engine with 5 speed manual transmission churning out 85 PS of peak power, while the diesel variant will be featuring a 1.05 litre engine which will churn out 70 PS of peak power.

Mahindra Thar is the best 4x4 off-roader the automaker has ever built
Mahindra Thar is certainly one of the best off roaders the Indian automaker has ever built. No wonder by being the SUV maker of India Mahindra & Mahindra knows how to satisfy the customers with a rugged and capable off-roading worthy vehicle.
Last year Mahindra launched the facelifted Thar, which came with even more rigid capability. The car is powered by a 2.5 litre (2500 cc) CRDe intercooled turbocharged diesel engine paired with a 5 speed manual transmission which churns out 105 PS of peak power at 3800 rpm and 247 Nm of peak torque between 1800 rpm to 2000 rpm. There is another engine available as well, which comes in form of a 2.5 litre DI engine churning out 63 PS of peak power and 182.5 Nm of peak torque. The car is equipped with Borgwarner 4 wheel drive technology, and the Mahindra Thar also comes available with a front wheel drive option.
Dimensionally the car comes with 200 mm of ground clearance, which helps it while off roading. Along with that the 44 degree of approach and 27 degree of departure angles also help the car. On the suspension front the Mahindra Thar comes with IFS with torsion bar and stabilizer bar at the front while the rear gets semi elliptical leaf spring. Braking duty is done by disc at the front wheels while the rear sports drum brakes. Available in three different trims the Mahindra Thar is priced between INR. 5.46 lakh to INR. 8.25 lakh.

BMW i3 is the German automaker’s fully electric car

Mahindra XUV500 is the range topping model from the automaker’s stable
Mahindra and Mahindra is known as the SUV maker of India. The cheetah inspired rugged and muscular looking SUV Mahindra XUV500 is the range topper model from the Indian origin automaker. Introduced in 2011 the car was built not only targeting the Indian domestic market, but also keeping an eye on the international market. The Mahindra XUV500 was codenamed as W201 prior to its launch. The mid size SUV was designed and developed at Mahindra design and vehicle built centre in Nasik and Chennai. Force Gurkha is a tough off-roading capable SUV launched in 2013

Hyundai Santro was a very popular compact hatchback in India between 1997 - 2014
