2016 Moto Guzzi MGX-21

2016 Moto Guzzi MGX-21

If Batman wanted to do cruising, this is what he would do it in.

Moto Guzzi has been the greatest brands in the motorcycling world and boasts of nearly a century of rich history and expertise helping them produce motorcycles that are often ahead of their time. The company has not, even for today, compromised its Italian soul be it the race track or the streets. And for the first time in the company’s portfolio, it has developed a motorcycle that expresses the same influence of its past in an increasingly personal and an exclusively styled machine that you can tour and put your favourite music on.

Given the evocative sobriquet as the “Flying Fortress”, the MGX-21 is Italian’s take at the traditionally styled cruisers and tourers or what we also call as Baggers, a mainstay of motorcycling in America.

It has been nearly thirty-five years since McLaren first made use of carbon-fibre to build a monocoque chassis for its Formula One car. Since then, it has come a long way into making its use as both an aesthetical and functional unit of high-end production products as this MGX-21 which is abbreviated for Moto Guzzi eXperimental and 21’, the year when the first motorcycle came out of the Mandello del Lario factory.

This motorcycle was primarily developed to boost the brand’s American sales and now has entered the Indian shores along with the V9s’. As stealth as something on two wheels can get, this motorcycle features everything you would expect in a bagger. Half-fairings, sound system, hard panniers, comfy saddle and a whole lot of flair being exuberated; if you can still see it after it has absorbed all forms of radiations.

Tata’s Upcoming Kite 5 Sedan’s Top Variant Spied Completely Undisguised

The car spotted was the top end trim

Some recent completely undisguised photos of Tata’s upcoming Kite 5 compact sedan are going rounds on the internet. Tata Motors showcased the compact sedan for the first time at the 2016 Auto expo and after that it was also spotted couple of times being tested on road.

The model which was spotted in this spyshot is most probably the top end trim and it not only gets a completely new exterior paint but also gets plenty of exciting new features. To begin with the top end trim gets stylish diamond cut alloy wheels, side turn indicators integrated on the ORVM’s, a thick chrome line bar in between the two taillamps at the rear. Although the front profile of the sedan is not highlighted in these images but gets the same face like the Tata Tiago hatchback. However we do feel that the top end trim might get projector units as well instead of the regular halogen units. The biggest advantage of the Tata’s new compact sedan is that it promises to offer an impressive amount of boot space at the rear. Tata claims that the Kite 5 compact sedan will offer around 420 Litres of boot space.

Coming to the interior expect the upcoming compact sedan to get a completely an all Black interior with some contrasting colour accents. Both this engines will be paired to a 5 speed manual transmission however there can be an AMT transmission on offer as well.

Expect the Tiago based compact sedan to hit the showrooms in mid 2017 and wit will take on some other rivals like the Honda Amaze and upcoming Chevrolet Beat Essentia sedan.

Yamaha’s Upcoming Entry Level Performance Motorcycle Spotted: Walkaround Video

could this be the more powerful FZ or a completely new motorcycle

Yamaha’s upcoming mystery motorcycle is making rounds on the internet for quite some time now. We all are quite excited to know that atleast this won’t be another commuter from the Japanese two wheeler brand but an entry level performance motorcycle instead which will be positioned below the R3 and will be priced aggressively.

This is the first walkaround video of the test mule which was spied during testing on India road. Now whether this is the more powerful FZ or a completely different motorcycle is still unknown. Now sharing parts with other existing Yamaha products means that Yamaha will definitely price the motorcycle aggressively.

When launched the all new Yamaha FZ200/250 will take on the Duke 200, Bajaj Dominar 400, Bajaj Pulsar AS200, RS200 and also the TVS ApacheRTR 200.

The spy video quite clearly shows that the new Yamaha motorcycle gets sleek and sharp looking headlamps cluster towards the front which also gets integrated LED daytime running lamps, while it also features a chiselled fuel tank with extended cowl, full digital instrument cluster, split seats and fatter rear tyres. The motorcycle gets disc brake towards both front and rear wheels and we are still not sure whether this motorcycle will come fitted with ABS or not.
