To enhance the sporty look of the bike,Bajajhas set an all black theme to its Pulsar 150 and looks very different from the other bikes of the commuter segment. The front of this bike wears an aggressive wolf like eyes with twin pilot lamps housed in it, the 12 V full DC headlamp ensures a constant beam over the road during the dark. The previous Pulsar 150 had complaints regarding the gearshifts which were noisy and awkward to handle, but Bajaj has solved this problem and have provided the revamped bike with the 1-up, 4-down configuration gearbox which resembles a lot with that of the Bajaj 180. The engine is very powerful among its segment and this is proved when the engine reaches up to a 60kmph mark within a time of approx 5.6 seconds from a standstill. The engine also provides the riders with an strong linear acceleration in any gear, an excellent pick up is also delivered. Bajaj Pulsar 150 reaches a maximum speed of approx 115kmph though there is a noticeable drop of the acceleration at around 95kmph. The bike returns a mileage of approx 40-50kmpl on the city roads while the figure averages at approx of 62kmpl on the highways.

Bajaj Pulsar 150 is a bike which has a sporty nature and thus delivers a very high quality ride; the handling of this bike is comparatively better and also handles unruly surfaces quite calmly. Keeping the monoshock aside, Bajaj has used telescopic suspension with anti-friction bush for the front and 5 way adjustable, Nitrox shock absorber for the rear of the bike.
